Margaret Drive Master Plan

Margaret Drive Master Plan is a plan to develop the Margaret Drive area in Queenstown, Singapore, into a vibrant and livable community. According to the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA), the plan includes the following key features:

• New public and private housing options to cater to different needs and preferences of residents.
• A nursing home and elderly facilities to serve the ageing population and promote inter-generational bonding.
• Enhanced connectivity and accessibility with new roads, pedestrian paths, cycling routes, and bus services.
• More greenery and recreational spaces such as parks, playgrounds, and community gardens to foster a healthy and active lifestyle.

Preservation and celebration of the rich heritage and culture of Queenstown through adaptive reuse of existing buildings and public art.
One of the upcoming projects under the Margaret Drive Master Plan is SkyOasis @ Dawson, a Selective En bloc Redevelopment Scheme (SERS) that will offer 1,192 units of 2-room, 3-room, 4-room and 5-room Premium flats in six residential blocks ranging from 26 to 45 storeys. The project will also feature various amenities such as an eating house, a minimart, a childcare centre, and some shops. The estimated completion date is December 2021.
